Christmas Party - work

Last night we had our staff room Christmas party at Rachael's. She lives on a property about 45 kms out of town.  Her husband put together the wooden reindeer, using a water float for his red nose ... very cute...I just love rustic charm.
The building is the shearers quarters where, in the past, the men shearing the sheep would live here until the shed was finished.

Christmas Goodies

Getting in and finishing my OPAM  project for November early as I know the next few weeks will be crazy busy.
Snow Bowl Fillers - a Bonnie Sullivan pre - printed pattern.  I love these little projects combining applique and stitching so cute.

Over the weekend  I spent some time stitching..... Getting my OPAM for October finished. This project is a partially printed project designed by Bonnie Sullivan. It uses some wool applique, embroidery and a printed picture design. I love them. I Love the colours and the quirky design.  As much as I try to go for an Aussie for Christmas I still tend to love the traditional northern hemisphere style of decoration.  In early November last year I was in Michigan and it snowed and there were lots of Christmas decorations in shops and around and that will probably as close as I will ever get to a white Christmas. Well I can dream. Hello to Denice my Michigan friend.

Northern Visitors

Bernie's family from the Atherton tablelands (North Qld) visited. Some have never been interstate so we drove over the bridge for a photo shoot . Ha !Ha!

We had so much fun making  pizzas.  The pool was open for business and face painting was a main attraction, first the kids and then  the adults, if you stood still you were painted.
