A nice spot to sit and stitch

A home for all those indoor pots that become outdoor pots and just seem to love it

My first pictures

Here goes the first photo download!
"Blocked in " this is the first of many blocks , 9 more to go for a queen size quilt. I love shabby chic, but look at my friend Margie's, how dramatic are the colours! Our local quilt group is called McIntyre Quilters and we are always looking something to do. We meet on th 4th Sunday of the month. I am not making any promises for a finished date but the next step is to cut it in half and rejoin it with another 1/2 block. Could be interesting?

Thanks for the Support

Thanks to all of you for responding to my blog. Especially to those of you I met at Girls day in The Country  at Nundle. It was a terrific weekend , What an inspiring organiser in Kerry , and the lovely and talented designer, Annie  with beautiful projects and so many talented, friendly ladies to share the day with.  On our way home we chatted with a couple over a Steak burger at Barraba we chatted about the day, they couldn't believe we travel  so far to go sewing! But it more than just sewing isn't it girls.  Its friendship, inspiration and awe in a world where we gain creative energy to go forward and be confident to........ sew? and so much more like blog!!!
