Pretty in Pink

After 2 years almost to the day I finally finished this lovely quilt could have been done a year ago....... but that binding ..hmmm.....

I love this quilt...may be I just liked looking at it in my sewing room.... 


I made it at "Cottage on the Hill ",  Nundle , with the lovely Kerry Swain.

Well it's that time of the year again. SSSC  (Secret Santa Christmas Swap)
Mine is done and wrapped and on its way so I hope they like it.  

My goodness today was 43C here. Hope no one is sending chocolate for Christmas....LOL

Today we had our Christmas Party for our sewing group. Thanks To Margie Jo and Gail for hosting.

Secret Sewing and a Darling Grandaughter

After a 5 week bout of influenza I think I am finally better...yeah! So I have been catching up on some Secret sewing. 

Our little grandaughter is growing so fast  she is 2 now... We had breakfast at the beach followed by a play in the park. 


She is so busy playing at the beach , drawing and writing and  only occasionally  putting on a display of  the terrible two's especially  when it's time  to take her home from the beach......LOL   We are so blessed to have her in our life. Our beautiful daughter in law Emma always keeps us in her life by sending photos almost every day and talking on facetime a couple of times a week.
