My good friend Gail arrived and we had a lovely day of sewing. Always better to sew with a friend....
I am on a mission to finish things lately but I am busting to start a new project....so we will see how long it lasts.

Our quilt group has a challenge at the moment......we all had to wrap 4 fat quarters and put them in a basket then we had to pick one out and create something with them...we could use any embellishment and one metre of extra fabric..... I have to hurry up and start mine.

You have been busy with all your lovely quilts. It must of been sewing room cleaning day.i spent all of yesterday evening doing myn. And then some prep work. I have also organised my to be finished pile ( two of them from Kerry s retreat) just need to quilt them.
It sounds like you had a fun and productive day. I love the idea of your challenge and am looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Love your Dresden in the blues, very striking. Enjoy sewing your bindings tonight, I think it's an exciting part of the process. Great fabric choices on them.

HI! Jenny. Dresden plate is beautiful with the blues, love the fabric in the pretty twin quilts. Nice thimble collection and keep with the mission sounds a nice project coming.
