Stitching and NRL Hero

I have been working on a quilt called "Natures Journey" by Anni Downs .
I love this quilt and I am getting to really like needle turn applique.

This is my favourite block so far .

Petro Cinoniseva  ( may not be the correct spelling ) made a visit to our school yesterday. He spoke to the children about building  resilience skills and being positive.  He was very nice to the students and to the teachers and was happy to have some photos taken with us.
I have to say he is one of my favourite NRL players. For a big man  he was very quietly spoken and lovely.

Needle turn is my preferred way. Yours are beautiful and it's going to make a really pretty quilt. I was always afraid of needle turn till I did a quilt that was completely done that way and it made a believer out of me.

Love your fabric selections, your nj is looking great. He must have towered over the kids, great that he is giving back to the community too.
