Easter in Nundle

Most of you know Nundle for our Stitching escapades but every Easter the little township of Nundle, New South Wales, comes alive for the, The Nundle Go for Gold Festival.

The annual festival honours the significant role of Chinese and European miners and storekeepers in the development of the Nundle and Hanging Rock townships.

These were amazing athletes the lion dance was done on top of these posts. Two men in each dragon , one holding the other on his shoulders to make the lion.

I hope you all have a happy and holy Easter and enjoy what ever you are doing on this special holiday and I hope Easter bunny came to you today.
