Getting Back to it

Getting down to my sewing space. I had to find a spot for this beautiful  little quilt Denice gave me in November when I visited her in Michigan.  ( You will find her at  "Denice's Day" on my side bar.    http://weesied.blogspot.com.au/ )I could not find any wall space so it is at the entrance to my sewing room on my Nana's Singer treadle.  It so lovely just like a flower garden inside.
I finally got to my sewing space after reading Chooky's and Googy's blog. I really must get in there every day.
I have been wanting to play on my embroidery machine for a while. It annoys me so much that I don't get consistent results with it. Not enough practice I guess. So that was my first project today.  I made a hand towel as a welcome gift for a new young man who is beginning in our department when I go back to school. I also sewed some braid onto a couple of hand towels  for the present box.  They've been in the cupboard forever and I am on a mission to reduce my stash.
Took more than 10 minutes though Chooky.

Nice to get in and do some sewing - but I'm the same as far as getting much done in 10 mins lol - I need at the very least a 30min segment which I'm happy to put aside a couple of times a week - even once a week for a 1-2 hr stint would be easier for me than the 10mins each day I'm afraid - just not as proficient at the machine as chooky!
