I hope you can sort it out - Shez's solution certainly worked for me.
In the meantime - you can add your own comment to every post and tick the option that says something like "send follow up comments to....and put in yr email address
At least then you get the emails - to reply though you will need to use your contacts list as they will all come thru as no reply.
Usually your commenters will be people you already have as contacts.
