During the last school holidays we went on a trip to Gulgong and Hills End in NSW. Both places are very historic and we found some treasures.

| Many of these old pubs were the beginning of some townships and some of them still remain today as the heart and sole of almost deserted townships  |
  |
| Hills End Royal Hotel |
  |
| This was a nice find in the little museum in the town. |
  |
| When patch work was just that made of whatever they could find. Sorry I didn't get that date |
..

| Hills End  |
  |
| This little treasure shop in Gulgong was a find, well hubby thought so he found a very old "old timers" pocket knife |
  |
| I think its a long time since it cost $10 but the accommodation was quite ok and very central to everything |

Very interesting things you found.
Looks like fun. Thanks for taking us along.
It would have been a lovely trip. We do enjoy both those destinations.
