Ulverstone is between Burnie and Devonport.
The following photos are of a hand made fabric art collage of appliqué, stitches and other textile crafts. It tells the history of Deloraine. It’s amazing. They have used a lot of tule to cover some parts and hold the work in place. It consists of 4 panels each telling a story about the area. Deloraine is a very art and craft place . I even visited a patchwork shop called Quilters Corner.
While I was there they had a personal collection of sewing machines, mostly singers and Phaffs. Some real some models . Very cute little ones and all.
I love this antique crazy patch quilt dome with herringbone stitch |
A very famous horse from the area. |
Eating our way through Tasmania -Yum Christmas Hill Berry Farm. Raspberries everywhere. I love that you can pick blackberries on the side of the road. Not something you can do where we live |
The scenery is just beautiful here.
Lots of grass hay being baled all around the North of Tasmania |
Our camping spot in Deloraine on the Meander River When |
